Ghar – An open mic for words offers a welcoming space for all storytellers, poets and word enthusiasts or just sit back and listen to people to get a different perspective. It is a non-judgmental, chit-based open mic and the format is always stuck to.
Participants purchase tickets and, if they wish to perform, place their names in a hat on stage. During the event, the host randomly selects ten individuals who will each have five minutes to present their stories or poems. This inclusive approach ensures that every voice has an opportunity to be heard.
