Hailing from Dehradun, a young entrepreneur, Mansi Ranghar, is changing the way we see fashion with her brand, Vikara. Much more than just a la mode clothing, Vikara stands proudly to attain sustainability and empower artisans.

Every piece of cloth produced here is woven through traditional craftsmanship, in order to keep our heritage alive while ensuring ethical production.

Preserving local craftsmanship one cloth at a time!

Ranghar explained how, with support from the NIESBUD-Meta programme, Vikara has expanded its reach using Instagram and Facebook.

She went on to add how the brand deploys purely eco-friendly material like the dyes, yarns and fibres used are all natural and plant-based. By creating fabrics handcrafted by weavers and artisans from Dehradun, the brand aims at providing a livelihood to the local community.

In a step towards a more responsible and inclusive fashion industry, Vikara is promoting mindful shopping while supporting artisans to make an impactful statement!
