In a grand display of unity, peace and harmony, the transformative 37th International Yoga Festival has kicked off at Rishikesh's Parmarth Niketan and how!

The ashram has already welcomed more than 1,000 yoga enthusiasts from over 50 countries worldwide on the first day itself. Joining the glorious celebrations, a large crowd with participants collected near the banks of the Ganges on the eve of the fest to embark on this spiritual journey.

A 1.5 hour drive from Dehradun, Rishikesh, often recognised as the Yoga capital of the country, is offering a world of mindfulness to help you breathe, stretch, relax and unwind.

The festival, running from March 9 to 15, is all set to offer hosts of workshops, classes, and interactive sessions led by yoga gurus and experts from around the globe. Attendees can immerse in varied yoga styles, meditation practices and spiritual discourses scheduled to take place at this annual affair.

Larger than ever, the fest this year will be full of musical performances, traditional dance showcases and the tranquil Ganga Aarti to exhibit the rich and vibrant cultural heritage of India.
