In a landmark move for sustainable public transportation, the first-ever electric intercity bus service connecting Noida and Dehradun has been officially launched. This initiative marks a significant step toward reducing carbon emissions, offering commuters a greener and more comfortable travel alternative.

The service, operated by Ezy Go Bus, features four 40-seater air-conditioned electric buses. Covering a distance of approximately 300 km via Haridwar, each journey takes about five hours, providing a convenient option for daily and occasional travelers alike. The buses operate during morning and evening hours, catering to both early risers and those traveling after office hours.

Ticket prices are priced between ₹400 to ₹500, making it an affordable option compared to private cabs or trains. Passengers can book tickets online via the Ezy Go website or the RedBus app, ensuring easy access and convenience.

One of the most compelling aspects of this service is its eco-friendly impact. Unlike conventional diesel buses, electric buses produce zero emissions, helping to improve air quality along the route. This aligns with the government’s larger vision of promoting electric mobility across the country.

The electric buses are fully air-conditioned and designed for passenger comfort on long journeys. Their modern interiors, quiet operation, and smooth ride provide a superior experience compared to older diesel buses. Moreover, the direct route from Noida to Dehradun eliminates the need to transit through Delhi, saving time for travelers.

The launch of this electric bus service is more than just a transportation upgrade—it’s a symbol of India’s commitment to green travel solutions, combining efficiency, comfort, and environmental responsibility.
