It’s a good news for travelers as the scope of air services is in increasing in the state of Uttarakhand. The Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Department Authority is starting separate heli services between Sahasradhara to Gauchar and Joshiada from April 30. Services will also commence between Sahasradhara, Pauri and Srinagar from May 15.
With the objective of providing safe, fast and convenient air travel services, the whole operation will be executed by Thumbi Aviation. Tenders to star air service between Dehradun and Pantnagar are underway with a 18-19 seater aircraft.
Last month, the approval for heli services was given by state CM for Nainital, Bageshwar, Haldwani and Mussoorie. Now, four more cities are being added and passengers can book tickets online for the same on the official website of Thumbi Aviation.
All these steps are being taken to increase accessibility and provide convenience for tourists travelling to and from Dehradun. Not only will this promote tourism in the city but also better the travel infrastructure.
