Good news for retired Armed Forces personnel in Dehradun and nearby areas. The Directorate General Resettlement (DGR), under the Ministry of Defence, is organising a Rozgar Mela (Job Fair) 2026 for Ex-Servicemen in the city on February 13, 2026.
The job fair will take place at Jaswant Singh Ground, Garhi Cantt, Dehradun, and will begin early at 7:00 AM. Open to all Ex-Servicemen from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, the event aims to help veterans find meaningful second-career opportunities after retirement.
Participation and registration are completely free. Interested candidates can register online through www.dgrindia.gov.in or www.esmhire.com. On the day of the event, attendees are required to carry their ESM identity card along with five copies of their resume or biodata.
A wide range of job roles will be available, including positions in security services, facility management, logistics, healthcare, engineering, administration, IT, and managerial roles. Leading employers from various sectors are expected to participate.
