Dehradun has just etched a new chapter in its sporting journey with the launch of the 1st Dehradun District Women’s Cricket League 2026–27 — a landmark initiative set to transform the future of women’s cricket in Uttarakhand.

The inauguration ceremony, which was hosted by Mr. P. C. Verma, Chief Patron of CAU, symbolises the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand's steadfast dedication to developing talent, opening doors, and empowering the upcoming generation of female cricket players.
